> Most of the games I play are 20 or more years old and have needed special work to function on both Windows 10 and 11.ĭoctor doctor it hurts when I do this. I mean, I'll still have Baldur's Gate 3 but I don't want that to be my only choice when I want to play a game. I don't want to lose those games as there really aren't that many games released since 2006 that are any fun. Most of the games I play are 20 or more years old and have needed special work to function on both Windows 10 and 11. I'm kind of concerned about W12 to be honest. Unless you're in the W12 beta no one can say and there may be an NDA in effect. Just wondering 1) Is there a fix/ work around to make this game work on Windows 11? 2) Which platform as the best chance of working: Steam, GOG or Epic? 3) I also read that Microsoft might be forcing an early version of Windows 12 on us by this Christmas so anyone heard anything about it? Any chance this game will work on Windows 12? If I buy this game again it will not be until it's on sale so probably Thanksgiving or Christmas I guess. Have not found anything over on Epic Games yet but still looking. Reading the comments here on Steam and over on GOG it seems FO3:GotY does not work on Windows 10 nor Windows 11. I was thinking of playing this game again for the first time in 10+ years but don't want to waste my time or money on software that doesn't work.
